Dear 4F,
We've covered the life cycles of animals, and we learnt that butterflies, moths, beetles and mosquitoes are examples of a four stage life cycle: from an egg, to a larva, to pupa and finally the adult butterfly/moth.
We also learnt that the young of the above mentioned insects do not resemble their adult.
I came across this website that I thought is quite amazing. It showed the caterpillar transformation to the adult butterfly/moth.
Which do you prefer? The larva or the adult?
I think both stages are equally amazing.

Idioms
As promised, here's the video we have watched.
It's funny if we take idioms literally, isn't it? Like what our classmate, Cloud, has mentioned, it's just an expression.
So let's find out more on idioms!
Task for today (to be written in your LRD Exercise Book):
1) Learn 1 new idiom today.
2) Write down its meaning
3) Construct a sentence with the idiom in it.
We will have a group sharing, followed by a class sharing tomorrow in class.
Have fun!

Mealworm larva turning into pupa
Most groups should have their mealworms at the pupa stage by then (Week 6/7).
Can you recall the observations in the change from larva to pupa stage?
Did you record it down?
Let's continue to observe our pupa and see what happens next!
